Journey to The Savage Planet

This was a fun one... As part of a marketing campaign for a game launch we were asked to create a "Briefcase" to present various merchandise.

We decided a 3 sided jacket would best replicate the real thing, with the top panel housing 2 hidden magnets to keep the pack securely closed. This top panel would also allow the handle, which was attached to the box, to come through.

The biggest challenge would be to accurately apply the covering material, which was litho print with matt lamination. As they were covered by hand, extra care was taken so as the print would continue seamlessly around the pack.
